Up for sale is a used Dell Optiplex SX280 Small Form Factor PC. This was originally purchased in late summer of 2004 (doesn't seem like over a decade. . . .). The hard drive has been removed, but the hard drive rails and screws are included. This originally had Windows XP Professional on it, and the Windows XP Pro product key is included on a sticker on the case - you will need to provide your own install media and hard drive. After a few years, some of the capacitors on the motherboard bulged and leaked electrolyte, so we had some of these motherboards refurbished around 2009-2010 by replacing the capacitors (this is one which had the capacitors replaced - which is why the dell serial number on the case does not match the one on the motherboard) It also needs a BIOS battery since it will not remember the date and time. You also get the AC adapter (it has a small piece of broken plastic on the connector which does not seem to affect the functionality- see picture). You also get the wire guide which clips onto the back of the CPU. The PC also has some scratches/scrapes on the case. Please keep these things in mind when considering your purchase.
